My holidays : Dubbo

The fifth stop was in Dubbo for three nights. 30 574 inhabitants live in Dubbo. The name of the city is of aboriginal descent meaning"red earth". We visited the « Old Dubbo Gaol » and we attented to a show. The show is about a prisoner who try to escape the gaol but he can't escape because there is a guard. It was funny because some spectators took part in the show. We visited to Art Museum. After, we went to « Taronga Western Plains Zoo ». Hayley and me visited the zoo by bike. Pam and Denis visited the zoo by car. It was funny. We saw girrafes, zebras, lions, elephants, rhinoceros, tigers... We saw many babies animals. At the end of the day, we went to the zoo shop and I bought some keepsakes. The last visit was in Wellington. It's 30 minutes from Dubbo. We visited Cathedral Cave. It was so beautiful. Before we come back home, we stayed one night in Newcastle to see the son of my host family.

Le cinquième arrêt fut à Dubbo trois nuits. Il y a 30 574 habitants à Dubbo. Le nom de la ville est d'origine aborigène et signifie "terre rouge". Nous avons visité l'ancienne prison de Dubbo et nous avons assisté à un spectacle. Le spectacle racontait l'histoire d'un prisonnier qui essaye de s'échapper de la prison mais il ne peut pas car il y a un garde qui l'en empêche. C'était sympa car certains spectateurs participaient au spectacle. Nous avons visité le musée d'art. Ensuite, nous avons été au « Taronga Western Plains Zoo ». Hayley et moi avons visité le zoo en vélo. Pam et Denis ont visité le zoo en voiture. C'était très sympa. Nous avons vu des girafes, des zèbres, des lions, des éléphants, des rhinocéros, des tigres... et pleins de bébés animaux. A la fin de la journée, nous avons bien sûr été à la boutique souvenir du zoo et j'ai acheté des souvenirs. La dernière visite fut à Wellington. C'est à 30 minutes de Dubbo. Nous avons visité Cathedral Cave (la grotte de la cathédrale). C'est très jolie. Avant de rentrer chez ma famille d'accueil, nous sommes restés une nuit à Newcastle pour voir le fils de ma famille d'accueil.
